‘Notcoin’ Players Get Exclusive Perks in Telegram Games ‘Pixelverse’ and ‘Musk Empire’

‘Notcoin’ Players Gain Exclusive Advantages in Telegram Games ‘Pixelverse’ and ‘Musk Empire’

Notcoin, the game that ignited the Telegram crypto gaming craze, is now teaming up with rising games in the scene that it created—and Notcoin players who have reached a certain account level can gain exclusive benefits.

Pixelverse’s PixelTap and the Elon Musk-themed Musk Empire both announced partnerships with Notcoin on Wednesday. PixelTap’s collaboration comes just one day prior to the debut of creator Pixelverse launching its PIXFI token on The Open Network (TON), which will yield rewards for players—details of an airdrop, however, are currently unclear.

According to a Telegram post, Pixelverse will provide staking rewards for Notcoin (NOT) token holders, as well as Pixelverse-themed quests in Notcoin with a $250,000 prize pool. Moreover, Notcoin players with Gold or Platinum in-game levels “will receive perks from Pixelverse,” stated a Notcoin post.

Meanwhile, Musk Empire—a tap-to-earn game that allows players to upgrade and enhance their own version of Tesla and Twitter head Elon Musk—revealed its collaboration with Notcoin, days after temporarily rebranding itself to “NOT Empire” and incorporating Notcoin imagery into the game. The game now features special missions for Notcoin players, notably those with Gold or Platinum levels.

“Love to see such win-win integrations, and how both Empire’s and Notcoin community benefit from it,” posted Notcoin in its official Telegram channel. “Mining apps that transition into real games have tremendous potential and we desire to see more games like this.”

Notcoin launched its NOT token in May, quickly becoming the most prominent gaming token of the year—although players have eagerly awaited the game’s next moves. The Telegram game has introduced “earning missions” that generate passive NOT income for players, and has recently hinted at an upcoming gaming collaboration with TON NFT project, Lost Dogs Co.

Open Builders co-founder Sasha Plotvinov stated to Decrypt that his goal is for Notcoin to become the “Netflix for social, viral games” and progressively integrate more externally-developed crypto games into the Telegram-based mini app.
