Orbiter Finance’s Discord server was hacked

  • The channel is spreading information about an ORB airdrop
  • The administration says it’s a fake and urges users not to follow the links
  • Some users have already lost money on this scam

The Orbiter Finance team notified users of the threat of a phishing attack this morning, June 1. The protocol server at Dicord was hacked, after which fake links started to spread there.

The administration of the resource published a corresponding warning on its official Twitter page.. In the “thread” below, the team attached an example of a fake newsletter spread by scammers:

The screenshot captures a message from scammers. It says that the project administration is planning to airdrop ORB. Attached below is a link supposedly for branding tokens.</nbsp;

It is actually the URL of a phishing resource. When the user enters and fills out the form, he passes his data to the scammers.

The Orbiter Finance administration urged the community to spread the information to avoid further victims of this scam.. Now the team is doing everything possible to regain control of the server.

One of the users noticed that yesterday, May 31, the Discord channel of PikaProtocol was hacked.. After that there also began a wave of spam with fake links.

Another commenter noted that he lost 1,300 ARBs.. The number of victims and potential damage is still unknown.
