OSL Asset Management Receives License to Provide Services to Corporate Clients in Hong Kong

OSL Asset Management announced that it has received a license from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to provide services to corporate clients.

OSL Asset Management believes that in today’s environment, the combination of blockchain technology, artificial intelligence and web3 have become critical to shaping the future of the interactive Internet.

Therefore, the company intends to focus on direct investments in these technologies and is preparing to launch its first cryptocurrency investment fund for corporate clients.

OSL has become the first SFC-insured and licensed crypto platform for trading virtual assets, serving institutional and professional investors in Hong Kong.

According to Hong Kong Financial Services and Treasury Secretary Christopher Hui, more than 80 foreign and Chinese companies have already expressed interest in establishing their cryptocurrency platforms in the region.

However, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has warned all stakeholders that cryptocurrency companies should not expect leniency or indulgence from regulators, despite the region’s aspirations to become a center for digital development.
