Renowned Investor Jim Rogers Expects All Cryptocurrencies to ‘Disappear’ — Says Bitcoin Will ‘Go to Zero Someday’

Famous investor Jim Rogers, known for co-founding the Quantum Fund with George Soros, anticipates the eventual disappearance of all cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin. Despite bitcoin’s recent surge in price, Rogers remains skeptical about its long-term value and sees no significance in the broader crypto market. Speaking at the India Today conclave, he stated his lack of confidence in cryptocurrency, emphasizing that he believes in the lasting value of tangible assets like rice and sugar. Rogers even predicts that bitcoin will eventually go to zero. He doubts that bitcoin can replace traditional safe-haven assets such as gold and silver, pointing out that most people understand the value of these tangible commodities but not bitcoin. Rogers confirmed that he does not own any cryptocurrencies and does not plan to invest in them. He views cryptocurrencies as trading vehicles and expects them to vanish in the future, noting that many have already disappeared. Rogers has been skeptical of cryptocurrencies for years, citing the potential for government regulations and the decline of the U.S. dollar as factors that could negatively impact the crypto market.
