Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse Optimistic About SEC Lawsuit Outcome at Redefine Tomorrow 2023 Summit

  • This is the point he made during an interview at the Redefine Tomorrow 2023 Summit
  • Ripple had previously won a very important court victory
  • It’s about the Hinman document disclosure

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse believes that the legal “epic” of the SEC lawsuit is moving toward completion.

The head of the company is confident a decision will be made “in the coming weeks, not months.”

First announced by an insider on Twitter with the nickname “XRPnewt”.

He also pointed out that the company’s chances of winning in court were quite high because of the decision to disclose Hinman’s documents.

Later it turned out that he had allowed that conclusion based on Garlinghouse’s own statement.

He made the thesis about the end of the lawsuit as part of an interview at the Redefine Tomorrow 2023 Summit.

The CEO of Ripple himself has yet to comment on the company’s chances of winning.

However, he has previously repeatedly stated that such a possibility exists. And lately, the odds have only increased.

Also during the interview, the company’s CEO made it clear that he does not consider the U.S. a promising cryptocurrency market:

“If I could go back in time, I would definitely choose another location before founding Ripple.”

more, Garlinghouse claims that 95% of the company’s customers are outside the United States.

But despite this, Ripple has no plans to leave the U.S. market, at least not yet.

In a recent interview with CNBC, Garlinghouse said that there will soon be no cryptocompanies in the U.S.

Local regulators are doing their best to “strangle” the segment.
