Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Pledges to Accept BTC Donations and Establish the U.S. as a Bitcoin Hub if Elected President

  • He will be the first in history to accept BTC donations
  • If elected president, he has promised to make sure the U.S. remains a bitcoin hub

While speaking at the Bitcoin 2023 conference, Robert F.. Kennedy Jr. says he will accept campaign donations in BTC. He also said that cryptocurrency is a symbol of democracy and freedom.

“Today we show the world the power, sustainability and flexibility of the first cryptocurrency.

Most in the audience understand the connection between bitcoin, democracy, and freedom.

They are delighted because they deeply understand our need for freedom and democracy,” Kennedy said.

He added that if he becomes president, he will make sure cryptocurrencies are secure.

Also at the speech, Robert spoke out against the arrival of CBDC. He said such an asset is a war on cryptocurrency.

Kennedy said lawmakers should support the development of BTC, not hinder it. Robert also revealed what steps his administration will take to encourage bitcoin innovation in the U.S.

“I will defend the right to self-storage of BTC and other digital assets.

I will make sure that the United States will remain a global hub for bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. I will overcome the government’s growing hostility to the industry.”

Kennedy Jr. said last month that bitcoin was the only way to escape when the bubble bursts.
