The Robinhood platform announced the launch of Robinhood Connect, a feature that allows users to fund Web3 wallets without having to log out of the decentralized app or log into their accounts.

The Robinhood platform announced the launch of Robinhood Connect, a feature that allows users to fund Web3 wallets without requiring them to log out of the decentralized app or log into their accounts.

The new functionality in the Robinhood Connect platform will allow developers to embed the service directly into decentralized apps so that Robinhood users can buy, transfer, and top up their wallets directly, bypassing various preparatory steps.

“With the introduction of Robinhood Connect, trading platform customers will be able to gain enhanced access to their Robinhood credentials and save the time it takes to make trades,” the firm said in a statement.

Robinhood Connect is already integrated with MyDoge, Giddy and Slingshot wallets, and integration with other wallets such as Exodus and Phantom is expected soon.

Robinhood said the new functionality of the Robinhood Connect trading platform is part of a more global update to the Robinhood Crypto app.

The new features in the app will allow customers to use more advanced settings to refine their trading strategies, such as adding stop orders and stop-limit orders, as well as set alerts on price movements of traded assets.

Earlier, the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) announced that Robinhood Financial had reached a settlement agreement with investors and pledged to pay damages for operational errors and technical failures.
