Goal of the ShibaSwap Update

According to a disclosure from SpecialSHIB, the CMO of Shiba Inu’s partner Bad Idea AI, the incoming updates will correct any issues on the exchange. While they failed to provide information on the exact aspect of the update, SpecialSHIB says the changes will come into effect next week.

The Shiba Inu team continues to make an effort to meet growing demands as Shiba Inu gets more global visibility. This current update complements long-term efforts exerted into making ShibaSwap a venue appreciated by its users.

Throughout this year, the SHIB team has proposed different changes to the DEX, including the ShibaSwap 2.0. Despite no official date for this upgrade, it stirred massive excitement in the community. Per its design, ShibaSwap 2.0’s core focus will go beyond its exchange offerings.

The protocol will now serve as a crypto portal to access industry stats, news, charts, and trends. It remains unclear whether the update underway is related to ShibaSwap 2.0, but it indeed is stirring optimism that once live, ShibaSwap will gain more appeal.

ShibaSwap vs Shibarium

Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s layer-2 scaling solution, gains regular comparison with ShibaSwap, with the latest being the potential reward on Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) staking.

It was uncovered that the staking of BONE to support validators on Shibarium typically yields more rewards than staking on ShibaSwap. Noting these differences, the plan is to enable easy bridging from one protocol to the other in the near future, thus bringing maximal value to all users.

In the long term, ShibaSwap and Shibarium form a strategic outfit to help Shiba Inu achieve its ultimate objectives.
