Shiba Inu has exciting news to share about its latest updates in the Shiba Eternity game and the Shibarium L2 blockchain. Lucie, the marketing lead for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, made the announcements on X.
In regards to Shibarium, Lucie revealed that the platform recently reached a major milestone with a significant increase in the number of deployed contracts. This surge in developer activity over the past three months demonstrates the growing interest in Shibarium. Data from Shibariumscan supports this claim, showing that 34 smart contracts were deployed on September 5, just below the three-month high of 36 contracts on July 25. The recent launch of the Shiba Inu Developer Portal (ShibDev) has further attracted developers to build on Shibarium, resulting in a total of 17,653 smart contracts.
Moving on to Shiba Eternity, Lucie highlighted three key updates that have been implemented to enhance the gameplay experience. Various bugs have been identified and fixed, including issues with loading screens, freezing during competitions, and persistent effects on certain cards. Additionally, new leaderboards and a reward system have been introduced to improve overall gaming enjoyment. This is not the first time Shiba Eternity has received significant updates, as the gaming team previously addressed card interaction issues and game performance in April.
The Web3 version of Shiba Eternity is currently in beta testing, initially available to LEASH stakers starting from August 21. On September 5, access was expanded to holders of Shiba Inu-related NFTs, such as Shiboshi, Shiba Eternity Lore Collection NFTs, and SHEboshi. While there is no official date for the open beta phase, the general public will soon be able to access Shiba Eternity without any requirements.
These updates demonstrate the ongoing development and improvement within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, particularly in the Shibarium blockchain and Shiba Eternity game.
