Stripe offers two ways to set up a payment gateway. The first way: a widget for websites of companies that want to add cryptocurrency purchases.
Widget requires some changes in the code of the site and/or application. The second way: a completely separate digital asset purchase platform that makes starting up an app easier and faster.
Stripe’s head of cryptocurrency development Guillaume Poncin assured: Thanks to the platform, many companies will be able to outsource many important, but quite complex tasks to Stripe.
For example, identification and identity verification, authentication, commission and conversion optimization, and fraud prevention.
Recall that Stripe launched support for cryptocurrencies a few years ago, but then suspended its platform.
However, last year the company announced a partnership with the FTX cryptocurrency exchange.
