Stunning CBDC Pivot Predicted by Bitcoiner Samson Mow

Shocking CBDC Pivot Anticipated by Bitcoin Enthusiast Samson Mow

Samson Mow, a prominent advocate for Bitcoin and the CEO of Jan3, recently shared a tweet that has sparked significant interest. In a video excerpt from an interview, Mow delves into the topic of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) and issues a cautionary message about their ultimate purpose and the potential ramifications for society if their plans come to fruition.

Mow argues that central banks and governments are pursuing CBDCs as a means to exert control over money in order to control the populace. He believes this is the driving force behind banks’ efforts to develop their own centralized digital currencies.

While Mow expresses skepticism about the efficacy of this approach, he wonders how long they will persist in their pursuit of the desired outcome. Mow points to Nigeria as an example, where the government launched its CBDC called eNaira and initially presented it as an optional solution for convenience, security, and safety.

However, when the population showed little interest in eNaira, the government imposed limitations on cash withdrawals from ATMs. This move prompted the government to crack down on crypto on and off-ramps and attempt to penalize cryptocurrency exchanges operating within the country.

Mow contends that such measures are futile since information cannot be stopped, and he emphasizes that “Bitcoin is unstoppable.” He raises concerns about the potential for countries to transform into totalitarian or authoritarian regimes in their efforts to curb the use of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a whole.

In addition to his thoughts on CBDCs, Mow recently expressed his conviction that Bitcoin will reach $1 million. He sees it as a matter of when, not if, citing the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs by the SEC and the upcoming Bitcoin halving event as factors contributing to a demand and supply shock that will propel the cryptocurrency’s value.

Overall, Mow’s insights offer a unique perspective on the evolving landscape of digital currencies and the potential implications for individuals and governments alike.
