Tangem Wallet Expands Crypto Support, Now Holding Cardano and More

Tangem Wallet, a popular cryptocurrency self-custody wallet, has expanded its support for cryptocurrencies by adding Cardano native tokens. This update allows users to securely store and manage their ADA holdings, as well as other Cardano-based assets like Iagon (IAG) and SingularityNET (AGIX).

The Tangem team announced this new functionality on X (formerly known as Twitter) and encouraged users to update their mobile apps to take advantage of it. The update includes a “Manage Token” section where users can find and manage their Cardano tokens. It’s worth noting that staking for Cardano is not yet available on Tangem Wallet, but the team assured users that integration is in the pipeline.

The Cardano community has responded positively to this announcement, with many expressing their support for Tangem on social media. Some users even shared their orders for Tangem wallets as a gesture of support for the company and its work.

With the addition of Cardano, Tangem now supports a total of 61 networks, including established players like Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as newer additions like Shibarium and Solana. Tangem has become a prominent player in the hardware wallet market, having manufactured over 1 million cards since its launch in 2021.

Earlier this month, a cryptocurrency analyst predicted a potential breakout for Cardano’s native ADA token after it broke out of a falling wedge pattern following a period of consolidation.

Overall, Tangem Wallet’s expansion of crypto support is a significant development that provides users with more options for securely managing their digital assets.
