From June 21 to June 23, 2024, an offline hackathon will be held in Kyiv, which will unite talented developers, students and enthusiasts from many countries around the world. Representatives of the Ukrainian Ethereum community ETHKyiv told Incrypted about this.
Over the course of several days, event participants will work on creating their own innovative projects for the Ethereum ecosystem. In addition, they will be able to attend free panel discussions, speeches and workshops from leading Web3 companies.
Speakers and topics of the hackathon
Among the speakers will be representatives of such Web3 companies and blockchain projects as MetaMask, EtherFi, Gnosis, Scroll, Ideasoft, Intmax, Horizen Labs, Nethermind, Global Ledger, Kelp DAO and many others.
According to the organizers, hackathon participants will be able to choose one of the proposed topics:
- re-staking;
- account abstraction technology;
- L2 protocol scalability roadmap;
- tokenization and real world assets (RWA);
- Uniswap V4;
- SocialFi projects.
The event is expected to bring together more than 200 developers, as well as many mentors, judges and speakers. According to the organizers, the total prize fund of the hackathon is more than $100,000.
“Building a developer community is the hardest thing I’ve ever faced.. But we have been moving in this direction for 2.5 years. I believe that ETHKyiv should become a platform for creating new unicorns for the Ethereum ecosystem, uniting founders and developers from all over the world,” ETHKyiv founder Rostislav Bortman told Incrypted.
