The Foreign Ministry, supported by WhiteBIT, launched a chatbot to help citizens in consular matters

The IMFA with the support of one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in Europe WhiteBIT launched a chat-bot to help Ukrainians around the world.

The chat-bot can simultaneously serve several users and provide advice on the most common issues: the rules of entry into a foreign country, temporary protection, social security, return to Ukraine, consular services.

His use makes it easier to get the necessary information for Ukrainian citizens who are forced to go to other countries due to war and exist.. Now it will be easier, faster and more convenient to get information.

“Given the large number of our citizens who need assistance from the Foreign Ministry abroad, the chatbot is an important initiative that will help streamline processes and provide our citizens with the information they need in a few clicks.. We began working with WhiteBIT last year, at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, and implemented a number of important projects for our citizens. This support was extremely timely against the background of the unprecedented departure of Ukrainians abroad as a result of Russian aggression,” the Foreign Ministry said.

The chatbot will complement the activities of the call center, which started operating last June.. During this time, the call center processed about 15 thousand calls. Crypto exchange WhiteBIT provided resource support for round-the-clock operation of the call-center, comprehensive organizational support and assistance for the consular service of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided special training for operators, working with the appeals of citizens. They have all the necessary competencies to provide Ukrainians with high-quality information services.

The geography of appeals is very diverse and includes 96 countries. Most of the requests for help were received from Germany, Poland, Italy, Turkey and Ukraine.

The questions asked in the call center most often concern ensuring the rights of citizens and legal interests abroad, conditions of stay in different countries (social and medical services, employment conditions, customs rules, questions about childbirth, legalization of documents), etc.
