The number of active Base users has exceeded 100,000

  • Coinbase unveiled the public version of the Base mainnet on August 9, 2023. 
  • The number of active users and daily transaction volume grew significantly in two days. 

On August 10, 2023, the number of active users of the Base mainnet  reached 136,000 addresses. This follows a report by TK Research on the Dune platform.

Before this, the figure had repeatedly crept up to the 100,000 level. Average attendance remains at 80,000 addresses, which can be seen in the graph:

The amount of funds that are flowing into the blockchain via a bridge from Ethereum has surpassed $172 million, according to Dune:

The daily transaction volume on Aug. 10 was 579,752, according to Dune data. This is the new ATH since the public version of the mainnet was launched:

The network’s current TVL has surpassed $72 million, according to DeFiLlama. The indicator has been steadily increasing since the beginning of August 2023:

Reminder, the Coinbase exchange opened public access to the blockchain mainnet on August 9, 2023. 

The integration of the network has been announced by several decentralized exchanges. Prior to that, the blockchain was only available to developers. 

After the release, large holders in Base invested in memcoins and online game tokens.
