The Sandbox is offering a unique opportunity to creators in their VoxEdit Contest by providing a reward pool of 10,000 $SAND. Participants are challenged to design the best wearables based on popular memes such as DOGE, SHIBA, BONK, DEGEN, and PEPE. The reward pool will be divided among the top participants, with the 1st place receiving 2,500 tokens (1,750 $SAND), the 2nd place receiving 1,000 $SAND, and the 3rd place receiving 500 $SAND. Additionally, participants in the 4th to 10th positions will each receive 250 $SAND, and there is a participation prize of 30 $SAND.
To be eligible for the top 3 rewards, participants must be verified creators or have a KYC account. However, KYC verification is not required for the 4th to 10th positions. Participants can become verified creators by linking their studio with a GMF account or by having participated in 5 contests and achieved a top 10 placement at least once.
Submissions for the contest are currently open and will close on August 6th, 11:59 PM UTC. The final results will be announced on August 17th-18th. Participants must use an equipment template for their submissions to be considered valid. They can submit their fully animated asset as a GIF and fill out the contest’s Google Form with the necessary information. Alternatively, they can tweet the GIF with tags to @VoxEdit and @TheSandboxGame, along with the hashtags #VoxEdit and #RiseOfTheMemes.
Creators should note that The Sandbox reserves the right to disqualify low-effort or spammed entries, as well as any submissions that violate copyright or contain offensive imagery. Originality is crucial, and assets belonging to other companies, such as Marvel, Sega, Disney, or Nintendo, cannot be used.
