- VanEck has submitted an updated filing for its Spot Ethereum ETF to the SEC.
- The SEC has postponed its review of the filings until March 5, 2024.
- Other companies that have submitted filings for spot Ethereum ETFs include Franklin Templeton, BlackRock, Fidelity, Invesco and Galaxy Digital, and Grayscale Investments.
- VanEck previously filed documents to register the investment product in 2021 and also filed a Form 19b-4 with the SEC last September.
- VanEck is planning to close its Ethereum futures ETF due to the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF.
- VanEck has announced that 5% of the profits from the spot Bitcoin ETF will be allocated to support the ecosystem.
