Vitaly Kim invested almost $30,000 in Bitcoin

Vitaly Kim, the head of the Nikolaev Regional State Administration, recently declared his ownership of 0.71 BTC, equivalent to $29,820 at the current exchange rate.

As per the available information, Kim invested in Bitcoin back in March 2022 when the price was approximately $41,000, according to TradingView. Currently, the asset is trading at $42,100, indicating that the head of the Regional State Administration has made a profit of around $700.

Alongside his investments in cryptocurrency, Kim also disclosed owning seven apartments, three cars, a Hublot watch worth $11,500, and a salary of ₴987,000 (approximately $26,000). All of this information pertains to the year 2022.

It is worth mentioning that the National Bank and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine have rejected the approval of bills related to cryptoassets in their current form.

Business representatives have shared their opinions on this matter, emphasizing that the lack of regulatory clarity poses significant obstacles to conducting transparent business practices.
