Warning: 5 Altcoins Experiencing Surge in Trading Volume in South Korea – Check them Out!
South Korea’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has witnessed a significant surge in trading volumes for a handful of altcoins. These notable increases, particularly on the one-hour and four-hour trading charts, indicate a surge in activity, which stands in contrast to the trends observed on global platforms like Binance.
One altcoin that caught the attention of investors is Beam (BEAM). On Upbit’s four-hour chart, BEAM’s trading volume soared to $63 million, marking a massive 212.77% increase from its 50-period average of $20 million. However, the situation on Binance was quite different, with BEAM’s volume witnessing a 39.80% decline from an average of $6 million to $4 million.
Another altcoin attracting attention is LayerZero (ZRO). On the one-hour chart, ZRO experienced an explosive 365.80% increase in trading volumes on Upbit, reaching $190,000 compared to its average of $41,000. Binance, on the other hand, saw a more modest increase of 45.63%, with volumes rising from $97,000 to $141,000.
Bounce Token (AUCTION) also witnessed a significant surge in trading volume on Upbit, rising by 246.49% from an average of $3,000 to $11,000 on the one-hour chart. Conversely, Binance experienced a notable 56.76% decrease, with volume dropping from an average of $4,000 to a mere $2,000.
Theta Fuel (TFUEL) followed this trend of substantial volume increases on Upbit, rising by 339.14% in just one hour, from an average of $418,000 to a whopping $2 million. Binance, however, saw a slight decrease in volume, dropping by 3.38% to $471,000 from an average of $488,000.
Lastly, Stargate Finance (STG) contributed to this pattern with a remarkable 165.54% increase in trading volume on Upbit, surging from $137,000 to $363,000 in only one hour. Meanwhile, Binance witnessed a 19.60% drop, with STG volumes falling from $175,000 to $140,000.
