Weekly Roundup: Blockworks Media Portal Leads Fundraising, Unveiling Top Investments and Active Funds

A weekly roundup of projects that raised money from funds. There were 19 last week, read about each startup below:

– Game development studio Aether Games, announced it has closed a $4.5 million seed round of funding.

The funds came in the form of tokens and equity funding from prominent investors such as Mystenlabs, Polygon, Magic Eden, Polkastarter, Cogitent, Ultra, GSR, EMURGO, Master Ventures and Eclipse.

The new capital is being used to support the development of the Aether world project, which includes Cards of Ethernity, Gates of Ethernity, augmented reality and artificial intelligence technology.

– Privacy company Webb Protocol has completed a $7 million seed round of funding.

The round was led by Polychain Capital and Lemniscap and involved CMS Holdings, Zee Prime Capital, Commonwealth.

This funding will accelerate the development of innovative privacy tools and protocols, such as zero-knowledge and multilateral computing (MPC) solutions.

– Cryptocurrency DeFi startup Syphon Lab has raised $1.2 million in investment.

The seed funding round was led by Kima Ventures, with other investors including Waveline Capital, BT Growth Capital, Uno Ventures, Quidnet Ventures, and Mava Ventures.

The funds raised, along with investor expertise and resources, will help develop and scale the business to provide financial technology solutions to attract more users to the SUI Network.

The company aims to create one of the best solutions on the market.

– NFT sneaker trading platform, Meta has closed a $1 million pre-seed round of funding. The only investor was PineWood Capital.

New capital is used to stabilize the service, plan to strengthen the technical aspect, and continue to expand services.

The company expects it will lay the groundwork for leading innovation in asset investments.

– Leading provider of cyber threat analysis solutions, Cloudburst Technologies, announced it has raised $3 million in seed round funding.

The investment was led by Strategic Cyber Ventures (SCV), with participation of such funds as Coinbase Ventures and Bloccelerate.

The funds raised are planned to be used to improve the ecosystem.

– Web-3 company Artifact Labs, which works to preserve records of historical events in blockchain, has closed a $3.25 million funding round.

The investors were Blue Pool Capital and Animoca Ventures. The funds are planned to be used to expand the company’s operations, with an emphasis on increasing developer.

The firm wants to create a new space for historic brands and artifacts.

– Antimetal, an AWS cloud cost optimization platform that uses AI, has raised $4.3 million in seed round funding led by Framework Ventures.

Other investors included IDEO CoLab Ventures, Polygon Fund, Alchemy, Chapter One, Builder Capital.

The funds are being used to continue the solution the company has been working on since launching last year.

– The Web-3 distributed infrastructure platform, Triple Lab, has received funding from StepVC and CBI Holding. The amount of investment was not disclosed.

The company aims to provide a universal development platform for enterprises and developers to easily create and deploy their own decentralized applications (Dapps) on blockchain.

The funding is aimed at reducing barriers to developer entry into Web3, and developing a universal development platform.

– Pudgy Penguins has completed a $9 million funding round led by 1kx, an investment firm.

Big Brain Holdings, Kronos Research, Old Fashion Research, CRIT Ventures also participated in the seed round.

The company said it is using the funds to expand its intellectual property, team and improve offerings for its community.

– Swiss consulting services company Nomiks has raised $1.09 million.. Investors were Outlier Ventures and Cygny Capital.

The capital raised will be used to invest in research and development, spur product development and forge new partnerships.

– Cryptocurrency media portal Blockworks has reported the completion of a $12 million round.

The headliner was 10T Holdings, a private equity firm of one Dan Tapiero. As a result, the firm’s market value reached $135 million.

The company will use the funds to expand the products of the Blockworks Research analytics platform.

In addition to 10T Holdings, Framework Ventures and private investor Santiago Santos also participated in the round.

– End-to-end surveillance platform Blocktorch has raised $4.2 million in seed round funding.

IDEO CoLab Ventures, Rockaway, Alchemy, Speedinvest, Entrepreneur First, Remote First Capital and 7 other private investors participated.

The funds will be used to expand Blocktorch’s engineering and commercial teams, and to launch the official version 1 of the product based on information and user feedback during beta testing.

– Smilee announced the closing of a $2 million seed funding round.

The round was led by Dialectic, with participation from Synergis Capital , Concave Ventures , Owl Ventures , Yunt Capital , Dewhales Capital , Outlier Ventures , New Order , Multisig Ventures , GTS Ventures and Strategic Angels and several private investors.

– Tabi, the NFT token marketplace, completed a $10 million angel funding round.

The startup has been invested in by well-known companies such as Animoca Brands, Binance Labs, Draper Dragon, Hashkey Capital, Infinity Crypto Ventures, and Youbi Capital.

The funds will mainly be used to develop the Tabi gaming ecosystem and build its future online identity protocol.

The project also plans to launch an “NFT incubation fund” that will encourage developers to create their products, art and brand on the BNB network.

– Polynomium, which automates derivatives strategies to create products, said it has raised funds. The amount of investment was not disclosed.

It is known that Archetype Ventures, Caballeros Capital, Road Capital, Kain Warwick, Eden Au, Pranav Maheshwari, Scott Sunarto participated in the seed funding round.

– Layer-1 blockchain Odsy Network announced that it closed a $7.5 million funding round, which resulted in the startup’s valuation rising to $250 million.

New capital is planned to be used to finance the development of decentralized cryptocurrencies.

Blockchange Ventures was the main investor, and Rubik Ventures, Node Capital and FalconX also took part in the round.

– Fintech platform Meso, designed to bridge the gap between traditional banking systems and cryptocurrency applications, received undisclosed funding.

– Cookbook, an open source smart contract marketplace, has raised $2 million in investment. Alchemy, Superscrypt, MaC Venture Capital, Tagus Capital invested in the startup.

The company will spend money to train Web3 developers and give them tools to optimize their work.

The capital will also support Cookbook’s mission to optimize developers’ work to build Web3 and reduce development costs for hundreds of companies.

– Web3-focused crowdfunding platform, Artizen Fund, is raising $2.2 million in investment.

Leading Web3 funds, including Consensys Mesh, Animoca Brands, and Protocol Labs, as well as private investors, participated in the fundraising.

The funds will be used to create cultural NFT artifacts.
