Company officials said their operations were examined for compliance with the country’s financial laws as well as the Anti-Money Laundering Directive (AMLD).
Founded in 2016, Crypto.com now has 80 million customers worldwide. It is registered as a VASP in France, the United Kingdom, Dubai, South Korea, Australia, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, the United States, Canada and the Cayman Islands.
In early June the site successfully completed its one-year pre-licensing program getting approval to operate in Singapore.. The MAS license will allow Crypto.com to provide a full range of cryptocurrency services to the citizens of the city-state, including account opening, cross-border and domestic money transfers.
