VanEck Analysts Predict Ethereum (ETH) to Reach $11,850 by 2030

Analysts at the major asset management company VanEck predict that by 2030 the ETH exchange rate will reach $11,850, and with a favorable development the coin will even be worth $51,000.

In their study, VanEck analysts presented three options for the price of ether in 2030.

In the baseline scenario the coin will be worth $11,849, in the “bullish” scenario ETH will reach $51,006, but in the unfavorable “bearish” scenario the coin will fall to $343.

“We base our estimates on the assumption that Etherium will become the dominant global open-source settlement network.

It will house much of the commercial activity of the business sectors with the greatest profit potential.

In the list of similar platforms with support for smart contracts, we assume the purchase of call options for the long term.

The dominant platform is likely to take the lion’s share of the market,” VanEck analysts wrote.

The report also notes that it is very likely that ether will become a means of accumulating wealth – like bitcoin, but with slight differences:

“We argue that ETH goes beyond being a transactional currency or a commodity similar to oil or gas.

We believe that the coin is not a full-fledged means of accumulation, as bitcoin is, because of the possibility of changing the code of Etherium and the general position of the project, focused on utilitarianism.

Nevertheless, this cryptocurrency can be a savings asset for public entities seeking to maximize human capital.

Earlier, venture capitalist and Placeholder partner Chris Burniske said that the ether will reach $10,000 in the next couple of years.
