The Smurf’s Society has recently announced the launch of an exciting NFT collection featuring the beloved Smurfs characters from the popular animated series.
This unique collection consists of 12,500 one-of-a-kind NFTs, each showcasing a 3D image of various characters from the blue men cartoon, including Papa Smurf, Egghead, and Smurfette, as well as some new characters.
Web3 – VR Smurf and Crypto Smurf are among the latest additions to the collection, specially created for this release.
The Smurf’s Society is a closed community that has been testing the gamified world of Smurfy on the Polygon blockchain, where users with access to the WhiteList can immerse themselves in the fascinating universe of the Smurfs.
Arthur Salkin, co-founder, and marketing director of the Smurf’s Society, highlighted the universal appeal of the Smurfs, which have captured the hearts of fans worldwide, from Belgium where they originated, to Europe, the United States, and even China.
Salkin noted that fans of the Smurfs can easily identify with the characters and promised that future NFT collections would be even more diverse in character design, catering to an even broader audience.
The Smurf’s Society has enlisted the help of creative director Cedric Hervet, who has worked with famous 3D artists to bring the Smurf avatars to life.
Salkin praised Hervet’s excellent work, which has resulted in stunning visuals that capture the essence of the beloved characters.
In other news, fans of pop singer Madonna will be thrilled to hear that her iconic 1980s underwear will be sold as a collection of NFTs, and luxury carmaker Bugatti and high-end goods company Asprey have also announced the launch of a limited edition NFT collection in April.
