Strike Payment Platform to Support USDT on Lightning Network

Based on the Lightning Network solution for the Bitcoin network, Strike payment platform announced support for USDT, the largest steblecoin, on various networks.

According to Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino, users will be able to deposit and withdraw USDT, as well as pay with stablcoin.

It has not yet been finalized which networks will support Tether USD, but according to Ardoino, it “will be a combination of the most commonly used blockchains.”

“By using Tether’s stabelcoin as an intermediary, users are able to convert their assets into fiat currencies quickly and easily without liquidity issues.

It will be user-friendly and allow Tether and Strike to promote the adoption of cryptocurrencies around the world,” the operator of the largest stablercoin said in a statement.

As part of the agreement, all cash of Strike platform users living outside the U.S. will be converted to USDT.

Earlier it was reported that Strike decided to move its headquarters from the U.S. to El Salvador due to increased regulatory pressure in America.
