Survey Reveals Complexity as Main Obstacle to DeFi Adoption

Popular decentralized exchange Uniswap conducted a survey of 1,860 American citizens. It turned out that the main obstacle to using DeFi was the complexity of the work.

The report reports that many users of centralized platforms are interested in decentralized finance (DeFi).

So, about half of the CeFi users surveyed are going to experiment with DeFi protocols in the next 12 months.

Also, many responded that they wanted to buy a certain token and store their own crypto-assets. Slightly more than 20% responded that they want to buy various blockchain assets, such as NFT.

However, many are stopped from experimenting with decentralized finance by the complexity of DeFi protocols.

Many also complain about the poor understanding of this area and the high commissions when dealing with such projects.

To combat these problems, Uniswap analysts suggest that developers focus on user interfaces to make them simple and abstract.

As for high commissions, with the development of Level 2 solutions, this problem should go away by itself. Respondents also noted the need for better DeFi educational resources and user support.

Earlier, Drofa Comms analysts conducted a survey, according to which DeFi market participants expect the number of hacker attacks on decentralized finance projects to increase.
