The NFT-enabled Rally platform makes sidechain shutdowns.

The platform allows content creators to create their own tokens, which are then used in their micro-economy. Such tokens can be used to gain exclusive access to content or to purchase additional items, including NFTs. And the more popular a content creator became, the more valuable their token became. However, all NFTs released on the Rally sidechain were lost. The platform team cited a lack of resources as the reason for this decision. Therefore, at the end of January, the Rally social token platform disabled the NFT-enabled sidechain. Since there are no bridges in the sidechain, all user collection tokens were lost.

The platform team cited a lack of resources as the reason for this decision:

“2022 has been a challenging year not only for our platform, but for the entire crypto industry. Our team has worked tirelessly to keep moving forward, but the challenges and macroeconomic hurdles are too great to overcome in the current environment,” Rally said in a statement.

The developers promised to “develop the Web3 experience” on the main network of the project. So far, however, it is not clear whether NFT support is planned to be added in the future.
