The University of Texas introduces a special course on bitcoin for students

Texas A&M, one of the largest US universities, will add the Bitcoin Protocol course to the curriculum, in which students will learn how to build bitcoin libraries from scratch. The new special course was announced by Professor Korok Ray, who will conduct training starting from the spring semester. The program will be available to students of two educational institutions as part of the university – the College of Engineering (College Engineering) and the Mays Business School (Mays Business School). The course, the instructor clarifies, is based on the book Programming Bitcoin by cryptocurrency expert Jimmy Song. It is not yet known how many students will enroll in special courses.. In total, over 74,000 people study at Texas A&M. Earlier, the CEO of ARK Invest, Catherine Wood, said that in the near future, digital wallets and blockchain will “drastically change the world of finance.”
