A group of developers are about to revive the Terra Classic ecosystem

Group of developers calling themselves “Six Samurai” proposed a plan to revive the Terra Classic ecosystem. “The Samurai claim they want to ‘benefit the ecosystem’ in this way.”

Terra Classic is the original network created by the infamous Terraform Labs. The network continues to exist as an independent, not Terra 2.0. The market capitalization of its native LUNC tokens is now estimated at more than $600 million.

Developers have invited the Terra Classic community to spend $116,000 over three months on the project. If successful, they promise to work on the project part-time.

“LUNC has limitless growth potential, and we want to help realize it by using skills, benefiting blockchain and all its investors to achieve a true ecosystem renaissance,” the “samurai” said

The developers want to update the network to reduce synchronization time between nodes, as well as improve the test terraUSD and the way developers are rewarded.

“We see ourselves as participants in the Terra Classic blockchain, both as developers and as longtime community members/investors,” the team assures.

Terra founder Do Kwon is now in jail in Montenegro on passport forgery charges. Montenegrin court considers extradition requests for Do Kwon. The U.S. and South Korea are filing multiple fraud charges against the businessman for his alleged role in the Terra collapse last spring.
