Bitget and Lionel Messi launch Blockchain4Youth project to inspire the younger generation to adopt Web 3 and cryptocurrencies

Crypto exchange Bitget announced the launch of Blockchain4Youth in collaboration with legendary soccer superstar Lionel Messi.

The project was launched as part of the company’s social corporate responsibility and aims to promote blockchain by empowering and inspiring younger generations to use Web 3 tools and cryptocurrencies.

Blockchain4Youth’s goals coincide with the exchange’s core mission to inspire more people to use cryptocurrency.

Bitget believes that a blockchain-based future is needed to create better products and tools to help people advance the adoption of technology in everyday life.

The platform will rely on the younger generation to promote such ideas and help them become active leaders in the field;

A recent Bitget study found that millennials and zoomers are a major force behind the mass adoption of crypto, with millennials making up 46% of all crypto-enthusiasts.

According to the exchange, Bitget aims to become a brand that inspires Web3 adoption. Bitget plans to invest $10 million in the initiative over the next 5 years.

The initial phase of the project includes the development of certified blockchain courses with the Bitget Academy team, as well as lectures in partnership with renowned universities around the world.

Bitget also plans to introduce scholarships in the coming months to provide financial assistance to young blockchain enthusiasts.

Blockchain4Youth aims to inspire young people to participate in the development of the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.

Bitget has recruited one of the most popular soccer players of our time, Lionel Messi, to promote the program.

The platform will also partner with other leading blockchain companies to incubate innovative projects from young entrepreneurs and hold U30 hackathons (for participants under 30) to identify the most promising ones;

“Bitget and Messi – a perfect partnership on and off the soccer field. Just as the Leo Messi Foundation helps children and teens in difficult situations.

Bitget aims to inspire young people with valuable knowledge about blockchain and Web3, creating a future where the world will be closely connected to blockchain technology.

Bitget study demonstrates that changing demographics have a significant impact on the spread of cryptocurrency.

The younger generation actively seeks to systematically make sense of this ever-evolving world.

With this in mind, Bitget is committed to leveraging its global presence and launching important projects to develop opportunities for the younger generation.

At the same time, Messi acts as a role model because of his dedication and passion for soccer.

We see this project as an inspiration that today’s younger generation will embody in the Blockchain4Youth project,” commented Bitget CEO Gracie Chen on the joint project with Lionel Messi.

The Blockchain4Youth project will begin in May with a series of lectures on the campuses of leading universities in Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and other regions.

The Bitget Exchange is open to potential partners who want to join the blockchain future, and is now looking for blockchain supporters around the world to help educate young people and promote decentralization technology;

Recall that the Bitget exchange has been working with Leo Messi since 2022 and has already launched several joint projects with the footballer.
