9 New ETFs Capture 177,949 Bitcoin, Pulling Nearly 40M BTC off Market After GBTC Outflows

9 recently launched exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have acquired a total of 177,949 bitcoin, amounting to approximately 40 million BTC being taken off the market. These ETFs, including Blackrock’s IBIT and Fidelity’s FBTC, have significantly increased their bitcoin holdings since their launch in January 2024. Blackrock’s IBIT now holds 72,466.64 BTC valued at $3.12 billion, while Fidelity’s FBTC owns 60,054.87 BTC estimated at $2.58 billion. Despite the outflows from Grayscale’s GBTC, these newly established ETFs have gathered a substantial amount of bitcoin, making them significant players in the market. In total, the nine ETFs manage 177,949.11 BTC, valued at $7.62 billion, accounting for 0.907% of the total bitcoin supply.
