BCB Group Enhances Digital Asset Custody with Metaco Partnership

BCB Group, a provider of business accounts and trading services for the crypto sector, has partnered with Metaco, a Ripple-owned digital asset infrastructure technology provider. The collaboration aims to enhance compliance, security, and operational efficiency within BCB Group’s custody landscape. BCB Group has migrated its custody operations to Metaco’s flagship custody platform, consolidating its technology infrastructure and improving security and governance over its digital asset operations. The partnership, supported by IBM’s Cloud Hyper Protect Services, aims to optimize performance and ensure end-to-end security for digital asset transactions. Aaron Sears, SVP of Global Partner and Customer Success at Ripple, believes the collaboration will enable BCB Group to provide an institutional-grade custody platform and scale crypto services for its clients. Metaco has also partnered with other financial institutions, such as Standard Chartered’s Zodia Custody and HSBC, to offer crypto custody services.
