Billionaire Bernard Arnault invests in NFT despite his conservative stance on cryptocurrency

  • It’s about 74-year-old Bernard Arnault
  • He became the world’s richest man in 2020 according to Forbes
  • Arnault Sr. has a page on OpenSea and owns several tokens
  • His sons are actively promoting NFT

French entrepreneur and billionaire Bernard Arnault invests in NFT.

The well-known conservative with a more than “cool” stance on the entire crypto-asset sector owns an entire token collection and even runs a page on OpenSea.

The digital director and former adviser to Arnaud Jan Rogers said. He spoke about the billionaire’s collection on the Aarthi and Sriram podcast.

When asked by the host if Arnaud is really investing in NFT, Rogers said the following:

“There is no doubt about it.. He showed me his OpenSea page himself.”

The full release can be viewed at. Interestingly, Arnaud belongs to the cohort of conservatives who at least disapprove of the cryptocurrency sector.

The most prominent representative of this category of investors is Warren Buffett.. Earlier we reported that he compared bitcoin to gambling.

Arnaud himself never said anything like that, at least not publicly. But he also emphatically ignores the cryptocurrency sector and large counterparties.

“We will never sell virtual sneakers for 10 euros. You and I live in the real world and do real things,” Bernard Arnault said of the NFT segment.

What’s interesting is that the billionaire’s sons do not share his position. TAG Heuer CEO Frederic Arnault, 27, personally introduced one of the brand’s innovations in July, a smartwatch with NFT display capabilities.

His older brother, Alexander, was among the first to order the signature Tiffany pendant from the CryptoPunks themed collection..

Both of Arnaud’s sons not only promote NFTs, they also own them. And they seem to have succeeded in convincing their father of the segment’s vast potential.
