Circle Developers Build Wallet Platform That Supports Email and Social-Based Logins

Circle Developers are introducing a crypto wallet platform that offers support for email and social media-based logins. This new platform will enable users to authorize cryptocurrency transactions through email, social log-ins, or PIN codes. With the addition of social logins, users can log in to third-party websites using their existing social media account information, such as Facebook. Circle’s chief executive, Jeremy Allaire, believes that this product will help facilitate a seamless transition from Web2 to Web3. The market intelligence firm Kaiko recently found that Circle’s stablecoin, USDC, is currently the most sought-after regulated dollar-pegged crypto asset. However, unregulated stablecoins still dominate the market, although this could change with the European Union’s (EU) Markets in Crypto-assets (MiCA) regulation coming into effect.
