Copper launches platform for trading tokenized securities

In the future, the platform will feature financial and payment services applications, integrate with Copper’s custodial partners and provide access to financial instruments from more than 90 markets from around the world.

Company officials emphasized that the new platform will increase efficiency and reduce operating costs of traditional market infrastructure.

“Customers using the Copper ecosystem will benefit from automated processing of corporate orders, settlements, replenishments and rebalances,” the company said in a press release.

Copper recently bought out brokerage firm Securrency Capital, allowing it to enter the UAE market and launch digital securities trading. In May, it was reported that Copper and cryptocurrency exchange Bitget had partnered.
