Crypto chip company Katena has emerged victorious in a lawsuit filed against it by Bitcoin miner Coinmint. The panel of arbitrators ruled in favor of Katena, stating that the company did not deceive Coinmint into a $150 million purchase agreement. Coinmint had alleged that Katena and semiconductor company DX Corr conspired to trick it into buying mining machines that were never delivered. However, the arbitrators found no evidence of wrongdoing on Katena’s part and awarded the company over $14 million. Coinmint plans to file a motion to vacate the arbitration award, claiming a lack of due process in the proceedings.
