Crypto Prices Today March 14: Bitcoin Approaches $73,000, Ethereum Slides While SOL, PEPE & WIF Soar
The latest crypto prices today showcased a mix of movements, with Bitcoin (BTC) edging closer to the $73,000 level after hitting an all-time high of $73,641.04. On the other hand, Ethereum saw a dip below $4,000. Meanwhile, Solana (SOL) experienced a rally, causing other top altcoins like XRP and Cardano (ADA) to decline.
Major Crypto Prices Today
The Bitcoin price remained above $72,000, marking a 1% increase to reach $72,906.33 at the time of writing on Thursday, March 14. However, the trading volume for Bitcoin dropped by 21.49% to $48.03 billion within the last 24 hours. Its market cap stood at $1.43 trillion.
Within the altcoin space, the Ethereum price slipped by 2.12%, settling at $3,957.90 at press time, with a market valuation of $475.46 billion. ETH’s trading volume also declined by 16.45%, amounting to $21.88 billion. On the other hand, the Binance Coin (BNB) price rose by 13.72% to $611.68, with a 53.08% increase in its 24-hour trade volume, reaching $6.17 billion.
The Solana price approached the $170 level, surging by 12.62% and ending at $168.68. Additionally, SOL witnessed a 16.99% hike in trade volume, reaching $6.63 billion within the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the XRP price fell below $0.68, experiencing a drop of 2.80% and reaching $0.6759, with XRP’s trading volume plummeting by 34.01% to $2.39 billion.
As for Cardano, the price declined by 0.39% to $0.7482. ADA also saw a 6.60% drop in its 24-hour trading volume, settling at $874.63 million. Alongside the volatility in top crypto prices, meme coins also faced some impact. Dogecoin rose by 4.89% to $0.1805, while its rival, Shiba Inu, saw a 0.65% increase in value, trading at $0.00003316.

Pepe Coin (PEPE), a popular meme coin, surged by over 12% today. The Pepe Coin price saw a 12.35% increase to $0.00001015, with a market valuation of $4.26 billion. Its 24-hour trade volume also spiked by 71.05%, amounting to $2.30 billion.
Dogwifhat Soars 23%
Dogwifhat (WIF), a Solana-based dog-themed meme coin, experienced an impressive surge of over 23% and emerged as the top gainer in the crypto market today. The WIF price soared by 23.41% to $2.86, with a trade volume surge of 37.11%, reaching $371.45 million. Additionally, the Dogwifhat crypto recently hit a high of $4.50 during the ongoing rally.
