DYDX will launch its Cosmos-based blockchain test on July 5

  • The exchange introduced its network back in March
  • Since then it has added several important features, including the ability to connect a wallet and place orders
  • The release of the mainnet is expected in September

The DEX dYdX launched a closed blockchain test network developed in the Cosmos ecosystem this March. At the same time, the platform published a roadmap of five major phases.

In the evening of June 28, the project administration reported the completion of the fourth phase. They also said that the public test release will happen ahead of schedule.

It is expected that users will get access to the network on July 5 at 20:00 (Kiev time)..

  • Wallet connection;
  • Windows the order book;
  • Placement of market orders;
  • Viewing account information;
  • All the Cosmos-SDK toolset.</nbsp;

The administration expects to connect over 30 markets during the testnet launch.. The number of validators has also increased, now there are more than 40.

Despite the internal tests, the administration does not rule out the possibility of certain “overlaps.. Users are asked to report any errors via the feedback form (question mark in the appendix).

We note that the release of the mainnet is expected in September. However, given that Phase 4 was completed ahead of schedule, this could happen much sooner.
