A Nebraska man, identified as Charles O. Parks III, is now facing charges of wire fraud, money laundering, and operating an unlicensed money-transmitting business. Authorities have accused Parks of orchestrating an intricate crypto mining fraud scheme, known as ‘cryptojacking,’ where he illicitly utilized cloud-based computing services to mine cryptocurrencies valued at approximately $1 million.
