Cryptans from all over Europe came to Portugal earlier this month. One of the largest blockchain events – Epic Web3 Conference – was held in Lisbon on June 9. The conference brought together more than a thousand developers, investors and those who are genuinely interested in this technology.
The key topic of the event was project development strategy in Web3. Note that the conference was held in several stages. In addition to speakers, there was a pitch session and startup bake-off with over 70 VC representatives.</nbsp;
Most prominent among the attendees were representatives from big businesses:
- Isabel Gonzalez-Co-founder of POAP;
- Nicolas Santomauro, Director of Global User Engagement at Binance.
- Christopher Donovan – board member of Near;
- Stephen George – co-founder and CTO of Gnosis.</nbsp;

At the end of the day, the organizers summed up the pitch session, and the three best startups took part in a “roast.”. These teams received personalized expert advice on fundraising, project development and future scaling.
Epic Web3 Conference is the first event of this scale in Portugal.. The conference left us with extremely positive emotions, and the networking spirit that swirled around promises considerable promise.
