‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ Author Reveals Unique Reason to Save Bitcoin
Prominent investor and author Robert Kiyosaki, best known for his book “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” recently took to social media to discuss the importance of money and Bitcoin. Kiyosaki highlighted an interesting childhood experience where he made his own coins by melting down old toothpaste tubes made of lead. This childhood game taught him about counterfeiting and led him to discuss the US dollar’s departure from the gold standard in 1971. Kiyosaki believes that this move allowed the Federal Reserve and the US Treasury to start “counterfeiting money.” Expressing regret over the lack of financial education in schools, he urged people to save Bitcoin, silver, and gold instead of fiat currency. Earlier this year, Kiyosaki also predicted a surge in Bitcoin’s price, with an expectation of reaching $350,000 by August. As the cryptocurrency approaches the anticipated month, its value has been steadily climbing, currently standing at $69,410.
