Shiba Inu P2E Game to Increase SHIB Burns: Team Explains How

Shiba Inu P2E Game to Optimize SHIB Burns: Team Details How

The Shiba Inu ecosystem team has revealed their plans to increase SHIB token burns through Shiba Eternity, a play-to-earn (P2E) collectible card game (CCG).

Lucie, the head of marketing for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, highlighted the significant gameplay associated with Shiba Eternity, which is expected to facilitate more burns of Shiba Inu tokens.

Enhancing SHIB Burns with Shiba Eternity

Lucie explained that the transaction count for Shibarium, the platform where Shiba Eternity will be launched, will increase as more individuals engage with the Web3 version of the game.

Since players will need to initiate transactions using the gas token BONE on the Shibarium network, the surge in game activity will result in more BONE usage.

According to Lucie, utilizing BONE for transactions within Shiba Eternity will contribute to the burning of SHIB tokens, as Shibarium was designed to burn a portion of its fees using SHIB.

Furthermore, Lucie speculated that the NFT Shiboshi from Shiba Inu could experience increased demand due to the heightened gameplay. Players must own or rent at least one Shiboshi or SHEboshi to participate in Shiba Eternity.

Interestingly, Lucie likened the interconnected structure of Shiba Eternity to an ecosystem.

Community Aims to Intensify Burns

It is worth mentioning that investors have been actively discussing ways to enhance SHIB burns. So far, the community, along with Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, has burned over 410.72 trillion SHIB, including the incineration of 1.72 million SHIB in the past 24 hours, as reported by Shibburn.

Shibarium has played a vital role in reducing the significant supply of SHIB, leading to the burning of over 56 billion tokens since its launch.

Despite the burning of over 410.72 trillion SHIB, the token still has a circulating supply of 589.27 trillion. As a result, Shiba Inu enthusiasts have proposed various initiatives to boost the burn rate. The community recently submitted a petition to Binance, requesting the burning of SHIB using 1% of all transaction fees related to Shiba Inu on the exchange.

As of July 19, the Change.org petition had gathered 142 signatures, but the number has now increased to 1,083 at present. Notably, the ultimate goal for the community is to reach 50,000 signatures to solidify their demand.

However, Binance has yet to respond to the request regarding the burning of SHIB using 1% of the token’s trading fees. In the absence of a response from Binance, enthusiasts are hopeful that Shiba Eternity will contribute to increased SHIB burns.

Currently, the game is undergoing closed-beta testing and is accessible to players who have staked their LEASH tokens on ShibaSwap. Afterward, the beta testing will be extended to SHEboshi and Shiboshi holders before opening to the general public.
