Shibarium to Become Top 5 Blockchain: Here is Why

Shibarium is set to become one of the top 5 blockchains in the market, according to Lucie, the marketing lead for Shiba Inu (SHIB). Lucie believes that ignoring Shibarium would be a regretful decision, as the project has a strong and passionate community that is dedicated to helping others. She predicts that the community’s determination and positive intentions will drive Shibarium’s success.

Shibarium was launched in August of the previous year as an Ethereum-based layer-2 scaling solution. Its main objective is to provide Shiba Inu ecosystem members with functional DApps that offer scalability and lower costs compared to Ethereum.

Although Shibarium experienced some challenges during its launch, the protocol has demonstrated resilience as developers worked to improve its throughput. Daily transaction counts on Shibarium reached as high as 7.8 million at its peak. While the transaction count has decreased since then, it currently stands at 593,680 daily transactions. The total transaction count is 412,247,306, and the block time remains relatively low at 5 seconds.

Shibarium’s Total Value Locked (TVL) is currently $1.59 million, positioning it as the 154th-largest blockchain network by TVL, according to data from DeFiLlama. Additionally, Shiba Inu partner NowNodes ranks Shibarium among the top 5 most active protocols on its platform. The community and developers are working diligently to ensure Shibarium gains more traction in the long term.

Lucie highlights the benefits of projects building on Shibarium for the overall Shiba Inu ecosystem. These projects drive more transactions with larger volumes, leading to more token burns and extra rewards for registered validators. The increase in DApps also results in more BONE rewards for validators. Lucie emphasizes that these projects also create more exposure for SHIB and generate further attention for other Shiba Inu-associated projects, such as Doge Killer (LEASH) and Sheboshis (SHEB).

With the possibilities and opportunities outlined, Lucie encourages the community to collaborate and work together to achieve their set goals.
