The Sandbox Offers Exclusive Rewards to Avatar Holders This August

The Sandbox is offering exclusive rewards to holders of eligible NFT avatars this August. To qualify for these rewards, The Sandbox took a snapshot of wallets holding eligible avatars on July 26th. Avatar owners can now claim their rewards until August 31st. The main reward is the Rubber Duck Buoy NFT, which has been teased in previous Alpha Seasons. Holders of this NFT will also have the opportunity to unlock additional rewards. Once the Rubber Duck Buoy NFT has been acquired, holders can unlock an additional 4 NFTs and 5 $SAND tokens. To unlock further rewards, players must hold the NFT and play any experience at least once a day throughout August. This will unlock the Quack Hat NFT. By repeating this for three days, players can then claim the Tufted Duck Topiary Balloon NFT and the Duck Slipper NFT. A 7-day streak will unlock the Shoulder Perched Duckling and 5 $SAND tokens. Players who missed the snapshot in July can complete KYC verifications on their account and obtain an eligible avatar from the Official Collections to be eligible for September’s rewards. The next snapshot is expected to occur near the end of August. In a previous distribution, The Sandbox randomly distributed one of five different Team Uniforms to avatar owners, including judo, swimming, basketball, gymnastics, and fencing. Players who completed 30 quests in any of the four specific experiences while equipped with the uniform received bonus $SAND tokens and a matching weapon.
