Trustee Plus introduced Mastercard cryptocurrency for cashless payments

Trustee has launched Trustee Plus wallet-based virtual cryptocurrency card that bridges the cryptocurrency world and classic bank settlements. Representatives of the project told Incrypted about it.

Since today Ukrainians have been able to pay for their purchases with cryptocurrency as a regular bank card. Whether it’s fuel at the gas station, dinner at a restaurant, movie tickets, donations to WSU or a full basket of goodies from the nearest supermarket, all you have to do is hold your phone up to a banking terminal and pay with your card via Google Pay or Apple Pay.

The Trustee Plus Virtual Card will be available for use as soon as you download the app and pass user verification. If you are registered in the Dia app, this process does not take more than one minute.

Vadim Hrusha, the founder and CEO of the company, spoke about the product, benefits and launch bonus exclusively for Incrypted in an audio commentary.

I feel incredibly uplifted and happy, because I believe that right now we are taking the first significant step into a world of new financial opportunities.. We have made sure that everyone can use cryptocurrencies for everyday expenses. Already, the first 1,000 users have activated their cryptocurrencies in the Trustee Plus app. I am sure that in the coming hours this number will increase by 10 times.

The Trustee Plus card is issued by MasterCard and meets all standards of quality, security and convenience – just like other bank cards.

Main fees: 0% for card maintenance, 0% for cryptocurrency deposits and transfers. There is a 0.5% fee on cryptocurrency conversions.

The normal cost of issuing a card is €10, but cards activated between August 1 and August 5 will be issued for free.

“We have dozens of partners around the world that offer cryptocurrency card programs, and they continue to expand. Providing access to cryptocurrency in a secure way is also part of our value proposition and we continue to do so,” said Mastercard’s head of cryptocurrency and blockchain, Raj Dhamodharan.
