Warner Music Group and Polygon Labs have joined forces to launch a music gas pedal that aims to bring the next generation of blockchain projects and decentralized applications (dapps) to the Polygon network.</nbsp;

According to the official press release, this program is aimed at companies “operating at the intersection of music, technology and Web3.”. Also in the statement writes:

“They should emphasize different areas. Among them: developing artist fan communities, decentralized music distribution, innovative ticketing solutions, music-related merchandise research, digital and physical collectibles, and integrating music with interactive technology and games.”

Selected projects will receive funding from WMG and Polygon Labs and the opportunity to receive mentorship and interact with experts from the music and blockchain industries.

Polygon has been actively working with leading brands during the last year. In April, the company teamed up with Mastercard to release free NFTs and launch the Web3 music gas pedal program.
