Former FSB officer stole 68 BTC from a hacker

Former FSB officer Maxim Zhizhkun received five years in prison for stealing 25 million rubles, including in cryptocurrency, from a hacker under investigation.

At the time of the crime, Zhizhkun was an operative of the Syzran branch of the Samara Region’s FSB office. and banned from holding certain positions for two years. The sentence was passed by the Samara garrison military court.
