CertiK Partners with Alibaba Cloud to Enhance Security for Web3 Projects

New York-based cybersecurity services company CertiK has partnered with Alibaba Cloud to sell services to Web3 projects.

The business partners promise to help Web3 developers accelerate, secure apps and smart contracts with CertiK Security Suite.

CertiK smart contracts and blockchain auditing services have been fully integrated into the Alibaba Cloud platform.

The companies announced that they are planning joint hackathons, developer training seminars and app creation programs.

“We are excited to leverage years of experience in blockchain security on the Alibaba Cloud platform.

We believe in the power of blockchain technology, and we are happy that Alibaba Cloud has the same vision,” proclaimed CertiK co-founder Ronghui Gu.

CertiK released a report saying that more than $103 million was stolen from cryptocurrency projects during April as a result of hacking attacks.

Since the start of the year, total user losses have been $429.7 million, but April has been particularly marred by major incidents.

Earlier it became known that hackers managed to steal over $15 million in various cryptocurrencies using a website that mimicked the page of HitBTC cryptocurrency exchange.
