Musk Changes Twitter Logo to Dogecoin, DOGE Rate Rises Sharply

Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has caused a stir by changing the social media platform’s logo to that of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency.

As a result, the value of DOGE has soared to $0.10, thanks in no small part to Musk’s well-known fondness for the meme-inspired currency, which he has previously boosted with tweets and public statements.

In a move that further added to the excitement, the site’s developers also updated the animation on the platform to reflect the new logo.

Musk has taken to Twitter to share his enthusiasm for Dogecoin, posting a picture of a police officer examining a driver’s license featuring the old Twitter logo, with the dog in the picture insisting that it’s an “old photo.”

In a response to a tweet from a year ago, in which he joked about changing the Twitter logo, Musk wrote “as promised,” implying that this change was long-awaited.

It’s worth noting that Musk is currently facing a $258 billion lawsuit over his promotion of Dogecoin, but his lawyers are seeking to have the case dismissed.
