Sui is a scalable blockchain designed to host decentralized applications.
It takes less than half a second to get a block on this network, and Sui has a throughput of up to 300,000 transactions per second with 100 validators.
This is the second project based on Meta Diem to be abandoned.
The first Move programming language project created for Diem was Aptos, whose core network was launched in October 2022;
Sui uses the high-performance memepool and consensus engines Narwhal and Bullshark created by Mysten Labs.
“Sui scales to support a wide range of applications while maintaining high transaction speeds and low cost.
Blockchain can use multiple virtual machines at each validator to improve its performance,” said a Mysten Labs spokesperson.
Earlier, Mysten Labs co-founder Adeniyi Abiodun said the company has no plans to give away Project Sui tokens for free.
