On the popular social network X, the Avalanche Foundation team revealed that a portion of their $100 million fund will be allocated towards building a “cultural heritage” of meme tokens. This unique collection aims to “celebrate and promote the culture and entertainment represented by meme tokens.”
“Through this initiative, we aim to enhance Avalanche’s position in the market, foster the growth of new creative expressions, and support blockchain-based lifestyles and cultures,” stated representatives from the organization.
The Avalanche Foundation further emphasized that meme tokens have surpassed being mere utilitarian assets, instead embodying the “collective spirit and shared interests” of diverse crypto communities.
It is worth mentioning that the AVAX token, corresponding to the AVAX project, recently secured the 10th spot in the ranking of cryptocurrencies with the highest market capitalization.
